Longtime LA Times music columnist, Richard Hilburn, describes his encounter with Bono on March 15th, 1981 following a U2 show at a country club in Reseda.
"And I sat down with Bono shortly after that show, and he wanted to go to Bob's Big Boy.. in Toluca Lake.. because he heard about car hops and things in California. And he had this curiousity about American culture..."

I have a "Big Boy" doll that is not a bank. I says 1973 on the bottom of its foot. When I look at websites for its value, I see only "Big Boy Banks." They look just like this doll, but this is simply a doll - not a bank. It has "Big Boy" written in cursive on chest instead of the printed version. Where can I find out its value? Thanks!
